I get asked this question a lot. My style is a marriage of my love for the American West and my rural Pacific Northwestern roots. I call these lands West of the Rockies the Pacific North Wild West.

I specialize in natural light photography. Portraits, engagements, elopements & intimate weddings, bespoke branding and lifestyle photography.

I also shoot nature, wildlife, and urban exploration in my spare time and am open to working with other artists on creative projects. I shoot on location for events, branding, and lifestyle shoots.

While I take my work seriously, I have a sense of humour and I’m free-spirited and adventurous in personality. I love scouting shoot locations that are unique and ripe for storytelling. I don’t mind getting covered in dirt or mud for the right shot. Rain or shine, I’m there with you to make sure you feel comfortable and empowered. You are my absolute priority at our shoot.

Each photo session & package is customized to fit your wants & needs. Packages rates are calculated based on the type & length of shoot you book, as well as any extras you may want to add on (ie. print options, etc). Please contact me for a custom quote.

I get this comment & question SO often… and I get it! It can be intimidating to be in front of a professional camera for the first time. I remember the first time I did it.

I want to make every shoot fun, especially if you have never been in front of the camera before. Want to know something really cool? Some of my all time favorite photos I have ever taken have been at sessions where my model had NEVER been in front of a “real” camera before.

We’ll chat and I’ll give general directions to guide you. Once we get into a groove you’ll find that the session starts to flow and it is way easier than you expected.

My goal is to capture you not only looking but feeling your best. To create images that uniquely & authentically represent you.

I will never ever pose you in a way that is not comfortable to you.

I like my shoots to be relaxed, fun, and maybe a little adventurous if you’re up to it! My favourite shots come from the candid, magic little moments between.

Trust me, this will be fun.

First things first, do whatever you need to do to feel your best. Try to fit some self-care in before your shoot. Whether that be a good night’s sleep, getting your hair done, wearing on your favourite outfit (I’m always here for wardrobe advice), or drinking some bubbly.

You do your thing.

If we are doing a styled, creative, or branding session, we will start planning the details together in advance so that we have a vision in place by the day of our session.

Rest and relax the night or day before because we are going to have a lot of fun on the day of our shoot.

The number of finished deliverables from branding and promotional shoots will vary depending on the terms communicated prior to the shoot.

Editing & delivery time depends on the type and length of the session you book, ie. The turnaround for a one hour portrait session is 10-12 days, 30 days for a branding session, etc. Please inform me if you would like to have your session edited priority and we can discuss a rush fee.

I believe all of your images should be finished pieces so I will never send anything out that has not been edited. My photos are edited in my style, as shown in my portfolio.

For brand storytelling and artist promo sessions, we will work together to create a look and feel that is authentically yours.

I am currently based in Victoria, BC, and my session fees include travel around the Greater Victoria area. I am happy to travel around Vancouver Island and the lower mainland for an added fee.

I travel to Smithers, BC and Washington State regularly and Montana in the summer.

I am open to further travel in the summer months and for larger creative projects. Please don’t hesitate to reach out even if you are farther away—I love a good road trip for the right project.
